House & Garden is pleased to offer Buy Now, Pay Later options to suit you. We offer Zip Pay as well as Afterpay as alternative payment methods for our customers’ convenience.
What is Zip Pay?
Zip Pay is a reusable account of up to $1000 that lets you buy now and pay later. There are no upfront payments and interest free always. You can make as many purchases as you like up to your account limit, and from there you set up flexible repayments to suit you.
Applying is fast and you could be approved for up to $1000 straight away. Once approved, start shopping online and instore. That’s it – your purchase is all yours, with nothing to pay today. Interest free always.
Your first payment will be due at the end of next month. When you open your account, Zip will set up a monthly payment starting from $40 (or less if the amount you owe is under $40). This will come from the debit card you have linked, on the last day of each month and run until your purchases are paid off.
If there’s nothing owing on your account, there’s nothing to pay. Your account simply remains active until you’re ready to make a purchase.
Zip Pay is 100% interest free, always. There’s a $6 monthly account fee, this monthly fee is waived if your closing balance is paid by the due date. No balance no fee. And you’ll pay nothing upfront – there are no setup fees and no hidden charges.
Who can get Zip Pay?
To be eligible to apply for a Zip Pay account, you need to:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Facebook or PayPal account, in your own name
- Have a valid debit card, in your own name
- Have not declared bankruptcy or insolvency
What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is an online payment service that allows you to shop now and pay later, interest free. You’ll pay your first instalment at the time of purchase, and the remainder every two weeks.
With interest-free instalments, the only fees are for late payments. You can find your payment schedule in the Afterpay app and receive regular reminders.
You’ll know you’ve been approved within seconds. Orders ship as they would with any other form of payment.
Who can get Afterpay?
To sign up to Afterpay online, you’ll need a debit or credit card, Australian residential address and you must be over 18 years old.
New Afterpay customers are required to make their first payment, on their first order, at the time of purchase. For any order thereafter, your first payment will be deducted 2 weeks after your purchase date, and your last payment deducted 8 weeks after purchase. The full payment schedule will be provided to you at the time of purchase.
The payment arrangement is made with Afterpay, who will approve payments at the time of order.
